Description: Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor 1 (CDKN1A) is a member of the CDI family. CDKN1A is widely expressed in all adult tissues, but low expressed in the brain tissue. CDKN1A can be induced by p53/TP53, mezerein and IFNB1, repressed by HDAC1. CDKN1A may be an important intermediate, by which p53/TP53 mediates its role as an inhibitor of cellular proliferation in response to DNA damage, CDKN1A can bind to and inhibit cyclin-dependent kinase activity, preventing phosphorylation of critical cyclin-dependent kinase substrates and blocking cell cycle progression. |

Z300045 | 100 µg | EUR 120 |
Description: Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a small mitogenic protein that is thought to be involved in mechanisms such as normal cell growth, oncogenesis, and wound healing. This protein shows both strong sequential and functional homology with human type-alpha transforming growth factor (hTGF alpha), which is a competitor for EGF receptor sites. EGF receptors are expressed in almost all types of tissues. Parietal endoderm, mature skeletal muscles, and hematopoietic tissues do not express the receptor. The EGF receptor, designated HER1, is a 170 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein with a length of 1186 amino acids. It is identical with a previously described glycoprotein called SA-7 (species antigen 7). The extracellular receptor domain has a length of 621 amino acids, including 11 glycosylated asparagine residues and 51 cysteine residues. This domain contains the EGF binding site and also binds mammalian TGF-alpha. |

Recombinant Rat TNF |
||
Z300065 | 20 µg | EUR 85 |
Description: TNF is secreted by macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, T cells, natural killer cells following their stimulation by bacterial lipopolysaccharides. Cells expressing CD4 secrete TNF-alpha while CD8(+) cells secrete little or no TNF-alpha. Stimulated peripheral neutrophilic granulocytes but also unstimulated cells and also a number of transformed cell lines, astrocytes, microglial cells, smooth muscle cells, and fibroblasts also secrete TNF. Human milk also contains this factor. The synthesis of TNF-alpha is induced by many different stimuli including interferons, IL-2, GM-CSF, SP, Bradykinin, Immune complexes, inhibitors of cyclooxygenase and PAF (platelet activating factor). Human TNF-alpha is a non-glycosylated protein of 17 kDa and a length of 157 amino acids. Murine TNF-alpha is N-glycosylated. Homology with TNF-beta is approximately 30%. TNF-alpha forms dimers and trimers. |

Recombinant Rat IL6 |
||
Z300085 | 10 µg | EUR 235 |
Description: IL-6 is produced by many different cell types. The main sources in vivo are stimulated monocytes, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells. Macrophages, T cells and B lymphocytes, granulocytes, smooth muscle cells, eosinophils, chondrocytes, osteoblasts, mast cells, glial cells, and keratinocytes also produce IL-6 after stimulation. IL-6 is a member of a family of cytokines, which also includes LIF, CNTF, Oncostatin M, IL-11, and CT-1. All known members of the IL-6 cytokine family induce hepatic expression of acute phase proteins. The IL-6 receptor is expressed on T cells, mitogen-activated B cells, peripheral monocytes and some macrophage and B cell derived tumor cell types. It is not expressed in resting B cells but in resting T cells. The IL-6 receptor is a strongly glycosylated protein of 80 kDa and a length of 449 amino acids. It has been designated CD126. |

Recombinant Rat IL5 |
||
Z300155 | 10 µg | EUR 235 |
Description: Interleukin-5 is a specific hematopoietic growth factor that is responsible for the growth and differentiation of eosinophils. IL-5 promotes the growth of immature hematopoietic progenitor cells BFU-E while it causes differentiation of CFU-E the proliferation of which is inhibited by IL-5. IL-5 strongly stimulates the proliferation, cell activation, and differentiation of eosinophils. B cells can be made responsive to IL-5 by treatment with suboptimal doses of IL-1. Interleukin-5 also promotes the generation of cytotoxic T cells from thymocytes. In thymocytes IL-5 induces the expression of high affinity IL-2 receptors. In contrast to human Interleukin-5, mouse IL-5 also acts on B cells. It induces the proliferation of pre-activated B cells and their differentiation. High affinity and low affinity receptors for IL-5 are expressed in all hematopoietic and lymphoid cells.The low affinity receptor, CD125, has a molecular mass of 50 kDa (p60). The introduction of p60 into these cells generates a high affinity IL-5 receptor. The second subunit of the IL-5 receptor is identical with the larger subunit of the receptor for the colony stimulating factor GM-CSF (CD131). This subunit is involved also in the generation of a high affinity receptor for IL-3 and is being referred to as common beta. |

Z300159 | 1.0 mg | EUR 6900 |
Recombinant Rat IL2 |
||
Z300195 | 5 µg | EUR 60 |
Description: Rat IL2, also known as T-cell growth factor, is a secreted immunoregulatory cytokine produced by T-cells due to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. IL2 binds to the IL2 receptor, which is found in T and B cells and natural killer cells, and is composed of three distinct components: the cytokine specific α-chain, and the β– and γc-subunits. Its receptor complex IL2 induces the proliferation of T cells, generation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), proliferation and synthesis of immunoglobulin by B cells, and the survival of natural killer cells. Its heterotrimeric receptor complex is also shared by Interleukin 4 (IL4) and Interleukin 7 (IL7) by its gamma chain, and receptor signalling is essential for its expression and differentiation of regulatory T cells in the immune response. |

Description: Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor is found in almost all tissues of mesodermal and neuroectodermal origin and also in tumors derived from these tissues. Endothelial cells produce large amounts of this factor. Some bFGF is associated with the extracellular matrix of the subendothelial cells. Many cells express bFGF only transiently and store it in a biologically inactive form. The mechanism by which the factor is released by the cells is not known. It is released after tissue injuries and during inflammatory processes. FGF receptors are encoded by a gene family consisting of at least four receptor tyrosine kinases that transduce signals important in a variety of developmental and physiological processes related to cell growth and differentiation. bFGF stimulates the growth of fibroblasts, myoblasts, osteoblasts, neuronal cells, endothelial cells, keratinocytes, chondrocytes, and many other cell types. |
